Mojaharul Islam

Mojaharul Islam, PhD, MIEAust, is a skilled engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since September 2023, where responsibilities include onboarding and connection processes. Prior experience includes a role as a Power Systems Engineer at Arup, focusing on power system modeling, dynamic studies, and technical report writing from March to August 2023, and earlier at FortEng, where work involved in-depth modeling and compliance with Australian National Electricity Rules for both renewable and non-renewable energy systems. Mojaharul has also contributed as a Research Engineer at Griffith University, specializing in grid-connected renewable energy systems, and holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Griffith University, alongside a Master’s degree from the University of Ulsan and a Bachelor’s degree from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology.
