Moses Chitima has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Grid Systems at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since December 2010. Previous roles at AEMO include Principal Engineer for Grid Control Systems and Senior SCADA/EMS Engineer. Prior to joining AEMO, Moses worked as a Power Systems Engineer at AREVA T&D from January 2007 to November 2010 and held the position of Senior Power Systems Engineer at the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority from December 1999 to January 2007. Moses Chitima holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Applied Physics from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe.
