Naomi Stringer is a Principal Engineer in Operational DER Management at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since April 2024. Previously, Naomi was a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from February 2017 to March 2024, where Naomi led Project MATCH, a study on distributed energy resources (DER) and power system security. Naomi holds a PhD in Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energy from the same institution. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Renewable Energy Engineer at AECOM, Co-Chair and Chair of the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) Young Energy Professionals, and Assistant Project Engineer at Infigen Energy, contributing to multiple renewable energy projects and research initiatives.
