Navin Subash

Navin Subash is a seasoned energy sector professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Grid Connections Leader at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since April 2022, Navin provides strategic technical and commercial advice to network service providers and policymakers to facilitate the transition to renewable energy, focusing on New South Wales connections and Renewable Energy Zones. Prior to AEMO, Navin held the position of Director of Energy Operations at NSW Treasury, overseeing regulatory functions and energy policy implementation. Experience at GE Power as a Senior Product Manager involved managing product positioning and commercial tender processes in the APAC region. Additional roles include Lead Design and Commissioning Engineer at LogiCamms and Project Development Engineer at Contact Energy Ltd, where Navin contributed to various projects in the gas and geothermal sectors. Navin also completed leadership training at the NSW Government Leadership Academy in 2021.
