Philip Barrett

Philip Barrett currently serves as Manager - Vendor & Commercial at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since November 2025, contributing to a significant transformation agenda as part of a large program senior leadership team. Previously, Philip held the position of Head of Sourcing Enabling Technology at NAB from October 2018 to November 2025, along with a role as Senior Procurement Consultant. At Telstra, Philip progressed through various roles from November 2014 to September 2018, including Commercial General Manager and General Manager Commercial - Supply Chain, and earlier positions from 1999 to 2014 as Procurement General Manager, Senior Sourcing Specialist, and Procurement Analyst. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Western Australia, a Bachelor of Commerce from the same institution, and memberships from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and the AsiaLink Leaders Program at the University of Melbourne.
