Xiaodan Gao

Xiaodan (Jessica) Gao is a Senior Power System Engineer at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since November 2019, previously serving as a Power System Engineer at LR Senergy (now Lloyd's Register) from January 2018 to November 2019. Earlier in 2013, Xiaodan completed an internship in the Renewable Energy Department of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation, contributing to wind resource assessments, project budgeting for a planned photovoltaic plant, feasibility reports for wind farms, and collating meeting minutes for project reviews. Xiaodan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Newcastle (2013-2017) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Wind Energy and Power Engineering from North China Electric Power University (2009-2013).
