Tommy Sappal has significant experience in design and creative roles. Tommy started their career as a freelance graphic designer and worked for various organizations from 2008 to 2016. During this time, they designed user-centered websites for local and international clients.
In 1997, Tommy joined Micronet Software Manila, Ltd., where they worked as the Head Graphic Designer and developed games for major industry players such as Sony and Sega. Tommy also played a key role in setting up and developing the organization's sister company, CG Carrozzeria.
Tommy worked as a Product Designer at Pearltower Toys & Garments SZ Co. from 2004 to 2008, executing comprehensive product design and packaging projects for international companies like Disney and Petsmart.
From 2009 to 2011, Tommy served as a Senior Graphic Designer at Shenzhen Sunzone Electrical Appliances, Ltd., where they created designs that met strategic business objectives for brand marketing efforts. Tommy also guided packaging designs that incorporated human-package interface and market trends.
Tommy joined d-RED Technologies, Ltd. in 2012 as the Department Head - Creative. Tommy guided the design of a complete line of early learning toys and collaborated with popular licenses like Disney. Tommy'srole also included developing product plans for DUO toys in collaboration with Discovery Bay Games.
In 2013, Tommy became the Lead Creative at CeresVapes LLC. Tommy strategically created product lines for low, mid, and high-end consumer markets, maintaining excellent product cost accounting metrics. Tommy also delivered effective and differentiated brand messaging.
From 2013 to 2016, Tommy worked as a Design Consultant at iWant.com, providing design expertise and consultation services.
In 2014, Tommy assumed the role of Creative Lead at AST Designs. Tommy displayed their creative direction skills and led the design, development, and production at the company.
Tommy co-founded Trace Wearables in 2016, where they provided creative direction, design, and development leadership to create personal security products and an accompanying application called the Trace App. Tommy conceptualized and produced modern, sophisticated, and relevant wearable technology products.
Tommy's most recent position was Multi-media Design Manager at Aeotec, starting in 2017.
Tommy Sappal attended the University of Santo Tomas from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a major in Advertising.
