AEPDX is a Portland Community focused on storytelling through design and animation. We gather to explore, educate, share, and network—inviting designers, illustrators, animators, filmmakers, and VFX artists to bring their expertise. We share industry knowledge, animation techniques, and software; After Effects, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Rive, Maya, and more. 

• AEPDX exists to give the Portland design and animation community a platform for engagement, education, and collaboration.

• Our primary goal is to promote a diverse and inclusive environment full of a wide range of perspectives, styles, experience levels, and backgrounds.

• Provide in-person and online events with guest speakers, panels, and presentations featuring project breakdowns and software releases. 

• Provide local artists access to continuing education, making connections, and showcasing their work.

• Support and connect our other local animation groups.
