Daniel Tan

Daniel Tan is a Principal at Aera VC, where investment focus includes early-stage companies in sectors such as energy efficiency, climate tech, and innovative materials. Daniel is also a member of the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association and the Southeast Asia Climate Tech Coalition, aiming to drive $1 billion in climate investments in the region. Previous experience includes roles in financing at Crédit Agricole CIB, venture development at True Global Ventures, and contributions in digital finance and corporate treasury at Daimler Mobility AG and Lenovo, respectively. Educational qualifications comprise a BA Honours in Banking & Finance from Nanyang Business School, CFA Level II candidacy, and completion of the Financial Modelling and Valuation Program from the Corporate Finance Institute.
