Ben Klein

Ben Klein has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Ben currently works as the General Counsel at Aero since July 2021. Ben is also an Adjunct Professor of Aviation Law at San Jose State University since January 2022. Previously, they served as the General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs at Skyryse from January 2019 to July 2021. Before that, they were a Partner at Gross & Klein LLP, specializing in complex civil litigation and aviation law, from October 2011 to March 2019. Ben started their legal career as a Senior Associate at SLG, LLP from March 2009 to August 2011. Ben also gained valuable experience as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell from October 2006 to January 2008. Prior to that, they served as a Law Clerk for Judge Bruce W. Kauffman in the Federal Judiciary from August 2005 to August 2006. Ben began their legal journey as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from March 2004 to July 2005.

Ben Klein received their JD from the University of Michigan Law School from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University, attending from 1996 to 1999. Ben also briefly attended Oberlin College in 1995. Ben completed their high school education at Shipley School, earning a diploma from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their education, Ben Klein obtained certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration. In September 2016, they became a Commercial Pilot with ASEL/AMEL and an Instrument Rated pilot. Ben also holds a certification as a Certified Flight Instructor, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
