Josh Perry is an experienced professional who has worked in various technical roles within the engineering and technology industry. Josh is currently the Head of AI at Aerobotics, where Josh is responsible for research, development, and deployment of AI models. Prior to this, Josh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, focusing on robotics and autonomous drone data collection systems. Before joining Aerobotics, Josh worked as a System Architect & Mechatronic Engineer on an IoT project, and as a Tech Lead & Cofounder at Radcast. Josh holds a BSc Eng (Honours) in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.

Aerobotics was co-founded by James Paterson (CEO) and Benji Meltzer (CTO) and combines aerial imagery obtained from satellites and drones with its machine learning algorithms to provide early problem detection services to farmers, helping them to monitor their crops, receive early warning of potential risks, and optimize yields.
