Michael Wootton

Michael Wootton has a work experience primarily in the field of software engineering, with a focus on mobile and embedded software development. Michael started their career at Aerobotics as an intern in June 2015. After that, they joined as an Embedded Software Engineer in March 2016 and worked until May 2017. Then, they transitioned to the role of Software Developer in May 2017 and continued until June 2019. Finally, they became a Senior Mobile Engineer in June 2019 and is currently employed in that position.

Michael Wootton has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechatronics from the University of Cape Town, which they obtained in the period from 2012 to 2015. Before attending university, they were home educated from 1998 to 2011, where they completed their high school education. In addition to their formal education, Michael obtained a certification in Leadership Development from the LeadMe Academy in April 2023.
