Jesse Schmidt has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2014, they worked as a Technician at South Bay Communications for two years. In 2017, they served as a Math Tutor at Yuba College for six months. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Insitu Inc, where they collaborated with the embedded development team and contributed to the improvement of software products. Jesse Schmidt's education history begins in 2014 when they pursued a Certification as an Electrical Technician at San Mateo Community College, which they completed in 2016. Following this, Jesse went on to attend Butte College from 2016 to 2018, focusing on Computer Science but not obtaining a degree.

In 2018, Jesse joined the University of California, Santa Cruz and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, achieving a remarkable 3.95 GPA. They successfully completed their degree in 2020, graduating summa cum laude.

In addition to their formal education, Jesse has obtained several certifications. In June 2016, they received a certification in Electrical Power Systems and Instrumentation from San Mateo Community College. In July 2020, Jesse obtained two certifications from Aerospike, Inc.: AS101 Intro to Aerospike Enterprise Edition and AS201 Developing for Aerospike.
