Mitchell Heilman

Mitchell Heilman is a seasoned aerospace professional currently serving as Flight Engineering Team Lead at Aerostar International LLC since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading flight planning for stratospheric systems, conducting pre-mission analysis, improving internal processes, and coordinating with the FAA on system operations. Mitchell also plays a key role in training new Flight Operations team members and has contributed to the development of the Army Familiarization Course. Prior to this, experience includes launching and managing high-altitude balloon operations and an internship in import operations at Prestige Beverage Group. Mitchell holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 2018.
