Eric Ruby has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Eric started their career as a Peer Mentor and Student Assistant at Wichita State University in 2013. In 2016, they worked as a Consultant for Ground and Flight Test - Air Systems at ES3AERO. During this time, they also served as an Aerospace Engineer - Air Systems at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification L.L.C. In 2018, they joined Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation as an Air Systems Engineer until 2020. In the same year, they worked at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification Inc. as an Aerospace Engineer - Air Systems. Since September 2020, Eric has been working at Stratolaunch as an ECS Engineer, responsible for the development and execution of Ground/Flight Test Plans for ECS/CPCS/VCS and lead final integration and assembly of ECS/CPCS/VCS.
Eric Ruby completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Wichita State University in 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design - Associate from Dassault Systèmes in July 2020 and as a [PCEP-30-01] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from OpenEDG Python Institute in June 2020.
