James Geier has a diverse range of work experience. James started their career as a Physics TA at the University of Washington, where they taught first-year physics students. James also worked as an Undergraduate Hourly Helper at the UW Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics, where they set up and supervised data runs and repaired lab equipment.
After that, they became a self-employed Physics Tutor, providing tutoring services to students. James then worked as a Lead Physics Tutor at the University of Washington, where they were responsible for hiring and managing other tutors.
Later, James worked as a Clubhouse Assistant/Batboy for the Seattle Mariners, performing organizational duties and running errands for players and staff.
James then transitioned to the design engineering field, starting as a Design Engineer at BeOne Hamburg GmbH, where they worked on projects related to yacht and aircraft interior design. James was involved in all stages of product development, from concept to certification and delivery.
Currently, James is a Design Engineer at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification L.L.C. James'srole involves designing, analyzing, building, and testing flight test hardware, wind tunnel models, and aircraft structures. James is proficient in CAD, CAM, and FEMAP/Simcenter. James has also led projects, coordinated manufacturing, and developed a comprehensive skillset in engineering.
James Geier attended the University of Washington from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Aerospace Engineering.
