Charles Mente has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Charles started their career in 1985 as a DC-8 Pilot at Emery Worldwide Airlines. From there, they worked as a DC-8 Pilot at Air Transport International until 2002. In 2006, they joined Angola Airlines as a B747-300 Pilot, a role they held until 2011. Throughout their career, they have held various positions, including President at Aerotech International LLC, Chief Operating Officer at Philippines Airlines, and Pilot roles at Western Global Airlines, Everts Air Cargo, Silver Airways, Ericsson Helicopter, and Max Airline. Charles Mente has a strong background in piloting different types of aircraft, including B747-400, DC-9, B747, Casa 212, and YS-11.
Charles Mente attended Cal State Dominguez Hill from 1977 to 1979, where they earned a degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology at Nothrop Institute of Technology from 1972 to 1974. Charles'seducation also includes a degree in Aeronautical Studies from Cypress College, which they completed from 1970 to 1972.
