Ross Nelson

Ross Nelson is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in various technical and management roles. Currently serving as a Specialist Assistant Referee at the Scottish Football Association since June 2022, Ross also holds the position of Aviation Mechanical Technician at Aerotron Limited since July 2018. Previous roles include Decontamination Maintenance Engineer at NHS (August 2016 - July 2018), Mechanical Fitter at Oil States Industries (September 2013 - June 2016), and Engineering Apprentice at McAlpine Plumbing Products (August 2010 - September 2013). Ross’s educational background includes an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Strathclyde Business School (October 2022 - October 2024), an Honours degree in Engineering Management from the University of the West of Scotland (August 2017 - July 2022), and HNC qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering from Motherwell College (2011 - 2015).
