Alejandro Reyes

Alejandro Reyes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the IT and finance sectors, currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Renewables at The AES Corporation since December 2017. In this role, Alejandro leads the IT team in a business transformation project focused on enhancing the operations of US Utilities, including finance, supply chain, and asset management. Prior positions at The AES Corporation include Director of Global Applications and PMO, Director of Digital Transformation, and Project Director, where Alejandro managed various IT solutions and project management operations. Alejandro's earlier career includes key roles at ConocoPhillips and Ernst & Young, where responsibilities included regional accounting and audit management. Alejandro holds multiple degrees, including an M.S. in Management of Information Technology from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA in International Business from Universidad Metropolitana.
