Andy Pezzino

Vice President, Global Total Rewards & People Analytics at AES

Andy Pezzino has a strong background in compensation and benefits programs. Andy started their career at American Express Financial Advisors as a Financial Advisor. Andy then joined Cartus, where they held multiple roles including Senior Expatriate Assignment Consultant and Global Client Services Manager. At Cartus, Andy managed budgets, forecasted business, and implemented projects to increase efficiency. Currently, they are the Vice President, Global Total Rewards & People Analytics at The AES Corporation. In this role, they oversee the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs, manages defined benefit and defined contribution committees, and leads the People Analytics team to make data-informed decisions. Prior to their current position, Andy also served as the Director of Executive Compensation and the Global Mobility Manager at The AES Corporation.

Andy Pezzino has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In 2006, they completed an MBA in International Business from Fairfield University. In 2009, Andy pursued MBA Study Abroad with a focus on Doing Business in the European Union at Universitat Ramon Llull. Recently, in 2019, they attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, specializing in Finance for Senior Executives. Andy also holds certifications including Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) and Global Mobility Specialist - Talent (GMS-T) from Worldwide ERC, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
