Bárbara Corona

Bárbara Corona has a diverse range of work experience in the finance sector. Bárbara currently holds the position of M&A Lead Analyst at The AES Corporation, where they have been employed since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as the Financial Planning & Analysis for Mexico Region at the same company from March 2021 to February 2023. Bárbara gained experience in senior financial planning at Saavi Energía from February 2019 to March 2021. In 2016, they held various roles at Comisión Reguladora de Energía, including Director, Subdirector, and Analyst. Bárbara also worked as an Associate at PwC Mexico in 2016. Bárbara began their career as an intern at Banco de México in 2015 and Intercam Grupo Financiero in 2014.

Bárbara Corona obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a focus on Finance from Universidad Anáhuac in 2016. Later on, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
