Bernabé Casas has a strong background in finance and accounting, with over 17 years of experience working for various divisions of AES Corporation. Bernabé began their career in 2006 as a Financial Reporting Manager for AES Argentina's generation companies. In this role, they were responsible for creating and supervising procedures for financial closing and reporting, as well as translating information into US GAAP for reporting purposes. Bernabé also served as the Regional Consolidations Manager and Financial Reporting Manager for AES Argentina, where they oversaw monthly reporting and led a team of staff members.

In 2012, Bernabé became the Head of Administrative Processes for AES businesses in Argentina. Bernabé implemented system initiatives and directly supervised a team of 23 people.

From 2013 to 2014, Bernabé worked as the Implementation Leader for AES Servicios América, leading the implementation of a Financial Shared Services Center for US, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile businesses.

In 2014, Bernabé joined AES Andes as the Accounting and Financial Reporting Senior Manager for AES' Andes Strategic Business Unit in Chile, Colombia, and Argentina. Bernabé later served as the Director of Financial Reporting, Accounting Operations, Technical Accounting, and Internal Controls for the same division.

Currently, Bernabé is the VP and Controller of AES Clean Energy at The AES Corporation in the US. In this role, they serve as the Chief Accounting Officer for the Clean Energy Strategic Business Unit, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, technical accounting, and internal controls.

Bernabé Casas has a comprehensive education history, which includes various programs and degrees. In 1996 to 2002, they attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they obtained a degree as a Certified Public Accountant, specializing in administration, accounting, and finance. In 2007, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and completed the Financial Leadership Development Program, focusing on accounting and finance. Continuing their education, Bernabé then participated in the Program for Emerging Leaders at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2009, furthering their knowledge in organizational leadership. Finally, in 2011, they enrolled in the Program for Management Development at Esade, specializing in organizational leadership.
