Borislav Blagoev

Borislav Blagoev has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience at multiple multinational companies. Borislav started their career at Schneider Electric in 2003 as an Accountant and worked there until 2006. Borislav then moved to Triumph International in 2006, where they served as a Financial Controller for a year. In 2007, they joined The AES Corporation as a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting and later became the Eurasia Internal Controls and Finance Process Lead. Borislav worked in these roles until the present time.

Borislav Blagoev completed their Master's degree in Accounting and Control from D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in 2001. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various areas such as decision-making strategies, time management, business process improvement, project management, leadership communication, and internal controls, among others, from LinkedIn in 2022.
