Christopher Thomas

Christopher Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the solar energy sector. As a Senior Manager of Commissioning Engineering & QA/QC at The AES Corporation since February 2016, Christopher has held various leadership roles, including Commissioning Engineer Manager and Lead Project Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at SunEdison, where Christopher managed multiple PV projects, and as a Sr. Design Engineer at SolarCity, where Christopher significantly contributed to design quality and process improvements. Christopher began a career as a Research Assistant at UC Merced, developing techniques for solar reflector manufacturing. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced, completed in 2010.
