Connor Petty

Connor Petty is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Gas Turbine and Controls Team Lead at The AES Corporation since May 2023. Previously, Connor held several roles at ExxonMobil from July 2016 to May 2023, including Utilities Coordinator, Fuels Coordinator, Project Implementation Lead for North America, Pipestills Contact Engineer, and Site Utilities Contact Engineer, contributing to power sales coordination, steam system optimization, and process engineering. Prior experience includes a co-op position at SABIC, where Connor supported the chloralkali facility and enhanced production reporting techniques. Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 2016, following a high school diploma from Hill-Murray School and earlier education at the International School of Kuala Lumpur.
