D. James Snyder

D. James Snyder, P.E. serves as the Project Management Director (Utility West) and Project Engineering Lead for AES Clean Energy since January 2021, following the merger of sPower and AES' clean energy business. Prior to this role, D. James Snyder was the Project Engineering Manager Lead at sPower, managing large-scale renewable energy utility projects from February 2015 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Project Manager at Creamer & Noble/Jviation for a brief period in 2014, and as Vice President at Creamer & Noble Engineers from 1986 to 2014, overseeing employee management and operations. D. James Snyder began a career in engineering as a Project Engineer and Survey Crew Chief at JN Ward and Associates from June 1985 to September 1986. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University and studies at Jamestown Community College.
