Ellen Barrett

Ellen Barrett is a sustainability consultant currently working as the Manager of Business Transformation at The AES Corporation. With a strong background in clean energy, project management, carbon accounting, and corporate reporting, they are dedicated to merging sustainability with innovative business strategies. Ellen has previously held roles at AccountAbility, PowerMarket, and NY Green Bank, where they focused on sustainability advisory services and business operations. They have also conducted research for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and supported projects at Columbia University aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of consumer products. Ellen is pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability Management at Columbia University and holds a B.S. Cum Laude from Cornell University.
