Eric Owens

Eric Owens is an accomplished associate developer at The AES Corporation, where responsibilities include leading development efforts for New Mexico projects. With a background in development analysis and internship experience, Eric has honed skills in reviewing transmission plans, proposals, and project data management. Prior work at the Colorado Energy Office involved designing a Utility Portal website and creating Tableau dashboards to present Colorado electric utility data. Earlier roles included teaching environmental education at Change is Simple, Inc., coordinating sustainability initiatives, and assisting in zero waste event planning with CHIVE. Eric holds a Master's degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biotechnology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Endicott College.
