Hadis Moradi, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Manager of Engineering and Development at The AES Corporation, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Hadis held roles as a Senior Project Manager in Renewable Energy Engineering at DNV and as a Principal Power Generation Engineer for Solar and Storage Operations at NextEra Energy, Inc. Between January 2017 and September 2020, Hadis was a Senior Renewable Resource Modeling Analyst at NextEra Analytics, specializing in modeling renewable resources and energy storage systems. Additional experience includes work as a Research Scientist at Florida Power & Light Company, where performance evaluations of photovoltaic systems were conducted, and as a Teaching Assistant at Florida Atlantic University, covering various engineering courses. Hadis earned a Ph.D. in Electrical & Power Systems Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University.
