Ian Wang

Ian Wang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured finance and project finance within the clean energy sector. At AES Clean Energy, since June 2021, Ian serves as Senior Manager, leading tax equity and debt transactions for a diverse portfolio of clean generation assets, including battery storage, solar, and wind. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a Corporate and Investment Banking Associate at Mizuho, focusing on power and infrastructure project finance from November 2018 to June 2021. Ian also has experience as a Credit Analyst at S&P Global Ratings, where responsibilities included assessing the credit quality of U.S. project financings from August 2017 to October 2018, following an internship in the same field in June 2016. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago, awarded in 2017.
