Joseph Dassing

Joseph Dassing, CPA, is currently the Technical Accounting Manager at AES Corporation, a role they began in 2023. They previously held positions as Manager of Financial Systems and Staff Accountant in Financial Reporting at AES Corporation, where they prepared footnotes and led process improvement projects. Prior to this, Joseph worked as a Staff Accountant at Cvent, managing prepaid and accrued expense entries as well as conducting analytics on financial statements. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and continues their studies towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Maryland University College, while also holding an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Montgomery College.
