Joseph U.

Joseph U. currently holds the position of Global Head of Policy and President of AES Vietnam at The AES Corporation, where responsibilities include leading operations in the largest U.S. investment in Vietnam. Joseph is also set to serve as Vice President of Market Development at AmCham Hanoi from January 2024 to March 2025, following an election as Chairman to represent American investment interests in Vietnam. Previous experience includes serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy, with a focus on leadership roles in government relations and political consulting at Udeaux LLC, as well as providing legislative assistance to Congressman Steve Scalise.
