Kyle Oetken

Kyle Oetken is an experienced cyber security professional currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at The AES Corporation since June 2020, after previously holding the position of Director of Cyber Defense at the same organization. Prior to this, Kyle Oetken worked at GE from January 2012 to May 2020, where roles included Director of Cyber Security for GE-CIRT and Manager of Incident Response for GE-CIRT. Initial career experience was gained at Rockwell Collins from May 2005 to March 2012, where Kyle Oetken held positions such as Senior Infrastructure & Architecture Security Administrator. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and a BA in Management of Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa.
