Long Ha Tran

Long Ha Tran is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in ethics, compliance, and legal counsel across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Ethics & Compliance Officer, Legal Counsel, and Board Secretary at The AES Corporation since November 2022, Long Ha Tran provides expertise as an AES Secondee to the Son My LNG Terminal Project. Prior to this role, Long Ha Tran held positions such as Director and Head of Legal at UPC Renewables Vietnam and Senior Legal Counsel at Eni, handling legal affairs and compliance for various projects and M&A activities. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager and Head of Legal at Berjaya Gia Thinh, overseeing legal, compliance, and risk management for a significant lottery project, and Assistant Manager of Contracts, Legal & Compliance at PV Drilling. Long Ha Tran began a professional career in the legal sector as Tax and Legal Staff at Ernst & Young Vietnam. Long Ha Tran holds a Bachelor of Laws from Vietnam National University and a Master of Laws from the School of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University.
