Nikolay Mitev

Nikolay Mitev is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering with a comprehensive background in operational management and project engineering. During tenure at AES, spanning from July 2006 to the present, Mitev has served as FGD Plant Team Leader, effectively overseeing staffing, operational procedures, and maintenance strategies for critical equipment. Previous roles include Project Engineer at AES Kilroot Power Ltd and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at AES 3C Maritza East I Thermal Power Plant, where quality control and mechanical supervision were key responsibilities. Mitev's earlier experiences include positions in quality control, commissioning, and mechanical design across various organizations, contributing to a robust skill set in engineering solutions and project management. Mitev holds a Master's degree in Thermal and Mass Exchange and Processing from the University of Food Technologies in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, complemented by a second Master's degree from PIME.
