Norberto Corredor currently serves as the VP of Global Performance and Asset Management at The AES Corporation since June 2024. Prior to this role, Corredor was an Adjunct Professor for the Master in Technology and Management of Renewable Energies at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from May 2022 to May 2024. Corredor’s extensive experience at AES includes positions as COO and Director of Operations for AES Andes from January 2011 to May 2024, as well as Vice President of Shared Services for AES El Salvador from January 2009 to January 2011. Corredor began a career at The AES Corporation as Global Safety Director from January 2006 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master in Non-Conventional Renewable Energy from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 2021 and completion of the AES Leadership Development Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2011.
