Pat Green

Pat Green is an experienced environmental professional with a robust background in permitting, project management, and compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Currently serving as Director of Permitting at The AES Corporation since September 2022, Pat leads environmental programs aimed at providing cost-effective solutions while maximizing operational flexibility and environmental benefits. Prior roles include Environmental Services Project Manager at NextEra Energy Resources and Ecological Services Manager at Tetra Tech, where Pat managed field teams, coordinated with government agencies, and prepared complex permit applications. Pat possesses specialized expertise in GIS analysis, habitat assessments, and aquatic resource permitting, and has a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Technology in Renewable Resources.
