Rachel Brinks

Rachel Brinks is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Manager of Origination at The AES Corporation, where responsibilities include leading market strategy and managing Power Purchase Agreements for solar, wind, and battery projects across several key regions. Prior roles include Senior Analyst and Project Developer, focusing on solar and battery developments in the WECC region, as well as Associate Developer at Community Energy, Inc., where a pipeline of over 1.1 GWac of projects was developed. Rachel's early career involved consulting for the City of Boulder on municipal carbon tax design and interning at the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, working on energy storage strategies. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder.
