Rachel Koch

Rachel Koch is currently an Energy 4 Talent Trainee at The AES Corporation, starting in January 2024. Previously, as a Programs Intern at the Women's Foreign Policy Group, Rachel effectively managed budgets for significant fundraising events and contributed to grant applications that secured $15,000 in funding. Experience as an International Development Intern at the Asherah Foundation and an Immigration Intern at the International Center of Southern Kentucky involved completing asylum applications for Afghan refugees and collaborating in diverse cultural settings. Additionally, Rachel held a Policy Intern position at Life Span, where analysis and summarization of strategic plans and proposed bills were key tasks. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Communications Team Lead at Mzuzah, directing social media efforts and strategic planning. Early career roles included a Voter Engagement Specialist for Students Demand Action and a Campaign Fellow for the Terri Legrand Campaign, focusing on voter registration and grassroots communication. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Affairs & Communication from Wake Forest University.
