Rob Gardner

Rob Gardner is a seasoned professional in renewable energy development, currently serving as a Senior Development Manager at The AES Corporation since October 2020, following the acquisition of ADVANCE Energy, where Gardner worked as a Project Manager. Throughout the career, Gardner has played an instrumental role in due diligence efforts for over 1GW of wind and solar energy projects, managed external experts, and contributed to securing land agreements and permits. Prior to these roles, Gardner gained experience as an intern at Colorado College, successfully leading sustainability initiatives and conducting greenhouse gas inventories. Gardner holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College and another Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Otago.
