Roderick Conwell

Roderick Conwell, MBA, has extensive experience in engineering and regulatory operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of T&D Engineering at The AES Corporation since December 2011, Roderick manages an engineering group responsible for the execution, design, and construction of underground networks and large commercial projects. Previous roles at The AES Corporation include Manager of Major Projects Engineering and Manager of Regulatory Operations, where Roderick oversaw meter service quality complaints and regulatory relationship building. Prior to joining The AES Corporation, Roderick worked at Indianapolis Power & Light Company from February 2004 to December 2011 as Manager of Transmission Operations, enhancing compliance and operational continuity. Roderick holds an MBA from Butler University, a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, and a certificate from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in the Emerging Leaders Program.
