Ruchi Shah

Ruchi Shah has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, focusing on compliance, risk assessment, and project management. Ruchi is currently the Director of NERC Compliance at The AES Corporation, where they are responsible for building a strong culture of compliance and leading a team of cybersecurity and electrical engineers. Prior to this, Ruchi worked at Western Electricity Coordinating Council as the Director of Risk Assessment and Registration, where they transformed industry and organizational culture to prioritize reliability and security. Ruchi also led various risk and compliance programs and managed teams of cybersecurity and engineering professionals. Earlier in their career, Ruchi worked at NorthWestern Energy as a Project Control Engineer and an Emergency Management System (EMS) Engineer, where they managed capital projects and supervised control and data acquisition systems. Ruchi's experience showcases their expertise in compliance, risk assessment, and project management in the energy industry.

Ruchi Shah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Sardar Patel University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University. Additionally, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
