Sam Ley

Sam Ley, PE is an experienced engineer who has held various leadership positions in the renewable energy industry. Currently, Sam is the Vice President of Engineering at The AES Corporation, where Sam leads teams focusing on renewables projects in the US. Prior to this, Sam held roles such as Director of Engineering Technology, Director of Engineering, Senior Energy Systems Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer at companies like The Phoenix Asylum, RGS Energy, and Think PV. Sam's extensive experience also includes managing solar electric installation companies and overseeing operations in science centers. Sam holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Colorado State University.
