Timothy Sherman

Timothy Sherman, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in fixed asset accounting and financial management within the utility industry. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Dayton Power & Light since September 2019, Timothy manages fixed asset accounting activities and implements utility-specific Power Plans. Prior to this role, Timothy worked as an Accountant at YSI, a Xylem brand, where responsibilities included preparing journal entries and bank reconciliations. Timothy's career began as an Accounting Coordinator at Parker Trutec Inc., overseeing month-end consolidation across multiple facilities. Timothy holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Wright State University.
