Nicolas Cooper, EIT, CEM is an experienced energy engineer currently working at AESC, Inc. since November 2022 as a SEM/Energy Engineer. Prior to this role, Nicolas served as a Controls Engineer at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group from April 2019 to October 2022 and held an Associate Engineer position at Bridge Masters, Inc. for a brief period in early 2019. Previous experience includes acting as a DC Power System Technician and Salesman at Bend Battery, where responsibilities involved servicing DC power systems and designing solar charging systems, as well as conducting research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, focusing on thermal energy water desalination. Nicolas started the engineering career with an internship at EIL Engineering, where landscape mapping and adaptation to project changes were key tasks. Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from Oregon State University-Cascades, obtained in 2019.
