Michael Manikas

Michael Manikas is a Chartered Surveyor and executive leader with a strong focus on business development and indigenous engagement. They have held significant roles such as Head of Industry Development at the Green Building Council of Australia and CEO of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, where they transformed the organization into a modern operation. Currently, Michael serves as a Director at Biripi Capital and The Dreaming Foundation, both of which aim to close the gaps between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. They also hold academic roles at the University of Technology Sydney and UNSW, promoting engagement with First Australian students in the design and health sectors. Michael is a proud Biripi and Worimi descendant, committed to advancing Aboriginal interests in various industries.
