Mike Scott

Mike Scott has 33 years of experience in risk analysis, safety instrumented systems and control systems engineering. Mike joined aeSolutions in 1998 as Executive VP Global Process Safety Technology. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of aeShield, a software company that specializes in enterprise digitalization of process / functional safety. As CEO, Mike has shown strong entrepreneurial drive and has helped build aeShield into a globally recognized, patented and award-winning software platform.

Mike Scott obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1984 and 1988. Mike then went on to receive a Master of Engineering from the University of South Carolina between 1992 and 1995. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Functional Safety Expert and a Professional Engineer from the CFSE and NCEES, respectively.
