Peter Imrich

Peter Imrich is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Aetion since December 2019, Peter has contributed to the Data ingestion team utilizing technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark on Databricks, and Kubernetes. Prior to this, Peter worked as a Software Engineer at the American Physical Society where a new version of the Submission Server was implemented using Clojure/ClojureScript. Additional experience includes significant roles at CA Technologies as a Software Architect/Engineer, and various positions as a Software Engineer at Nastel Technologies, Teledata Communications, and an earlier role at CA Technologies. Peter began a research career at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory focusing on big data mining and visualization. Peter holds a Master's degree (ABD) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
