Bing Shen

Bing Shen is a seasoned expert in silicon photonics and nanophotonics with extensive experience in both research and engineering roles. Currently serving as Silicon Photonics Design Manager at Aeva since April 2020, Bing Shen has previously held positions such as Principal Silicon Photonics Design Engineer and Senior Siph Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist in Nanophotonics at Quantum-Si and Senior Optical Engineer at MACOM. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master's degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Bing Shen's research has involved the design and characterization of advanced photonic devices, including integrated polarization beam splitters and plasmonic waveguides, alongside early contributions in the analysis of OFDM systems.
