Jim Mirl

Jim Mirl is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in ultra-precision machining solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX since April 2024, Jim also operates as a consultant and owner at Mirl UPMS, LLC since November 2017. Additional consulting roles include positions at Aeva and Diverse Optics Inc. since 2020, as well as previous engagements with General Atomics, Mojo Vision Inc., Uber, and Soraa, among others.
